Banana bread breakfast biscuits. Normally I would say normal biscuits, but because these taste like banana bread AND oatmeal, I am very fairly in love. And when chocolate chips are thrown into the mix? OMG!

This really isn't a recipe. It's me telling you to combine two items together for sweet satisfaction you don't have to feel guilty about.

INGREDIENTS

2 large bananas, mashed



If desired you can add in some of these:

vanilla extract

Vanilla beans

Chocolate chips

Peanut butter chips

butterscotch

dried cranberries

raisins

Chopped almonds, almond or pecans

coconut flakes

cocoa nibs

INSTRUCTIONS



Place oats in blender or food processor and blend until oats act as the consistency of flour; it's okay if it is not absolutely ground.

In large bowl mixed mashed banana with oats till smooth. Add 1/2 cup of your favourite add-in; I used dark chocolate chips and a tsp of vanilla extract.

Spray baking sheet with non stick spray. Drop dough by big spoon onto cookie sheet; squirt a little using a rubber spatula. Bake for 9-12 minutes or until cookies are set. Cookies can keep in a covered container for a few days, or they can be frozen and reheated. Makes about 16 cookies.
